Pricing
As a consignor you choose how to price your items!!
Here are several pricing tips:
1.) A general rule in consigning is to price your items at 25%-40% of the original price. You should always take into account the brand and condition of the item.
2.) Ask yourself, "Would I buy the item at this price if I saw it in the sale?". Don’t sell what you wouldn’t buy!
3.) Don't allow yourself to get emotionally attached to the items.
4.) Presentation Matters. Things that look nice on the hanger sell. So-- run the iron quickly over each piece, take the extra time to button all buttons, zip zippers, etc. Clean your ride-on toys and outdoor play structures. Since they remain outside, it's not unusual that the will need a cleaning prior to selling.
5.) Wording and descriptions on your tag can be an important factor in helping an item sell. Using key words-- "like new", "hard to find", “barely used”, etc. will definitely tempt buyers to grab the item as soon as they see it.
